His mission was to help change the sound of Chicago radio, often hosting mixtapes for talent he believes in. He was the youngest DJ and on the station's roster and earned his spot in the Heavy Hitters, which was an illustrious worldwide DJ crew.
He is known for supporting local artists and giving them their first on-air appearances. He also showed a lot of love to music blogs like FakeShoreDrive, Ruby Hornet and Closed Sessions, who gave new artists a platform.
